The Investment Management System (IMS) is designed to be used by investment managers within a front and middle-office environment. Empowerment of users to create and build triggers and events to constantly monitor and manage time consuming processes is key to maximising time and risk.

Imagine a investment management system that will automatically advise managers and executives when clients are moving out of compliance with models, benchmarks or cash positions, automatically check orders against compliance rules and alert and advise of breaches, offer alternative instruments and funds in line with client requirements, provide performance and risk analytics with one click from anywhere within the client or portfolio view.

Additionally the Portfolio Manager module gives powerful tools to the investment manager to create and manage models and benchmarks of any type whether they be simple high level models or complex multi tiered composites. These models can be assigned to single or multiple portfolios within the investment organisation and can be used to actively manage the portfolios.

Detailed cash management functions are available to the manager to accurately manage and forecast cash. In addition the valuation engine and viewer enables detailed drill down and data manipulation including complete charting and graphing. A very rich data set is available to the users to view in any format required.

Using the latest technology and methods the IMS calculates performance contribution and attribution down to stock level using a variety of calculation methodologies.  The module allows dynamic slice & dice of performance, drill-downs and analysis over multiple time horizons. Three dimensional charting and graphing capabilities provide a flexible and immediate view of data in any format the user desires.

The system can be linked to industry standard data providers for the importation static and benchmark data. In addition the system can interface to internal data sources such as spreadsheets or other vendor systems.

The revenue analytics component is an extremely useful tool when analysing profitability of particular clients, groups of clients or even individual fund managers and their strategies. Analysis of fees and commissions paid or received from counterparties or third parties are also available and can be reported or analysed in detail.
